Average age of the vines: 20-25 years
Soil: clay limestone
Harvest Period: hand harvest, last 10 days of august until mid september
Vinification: following traditional maceration and fermentation for red wine, wine remains in stainless steel until bottling
Alcohol Content: 13% by vol.
Residual Sugar: 4 grams per liter
Color: intense ruby red
Aroma: red fruit, cherry, plum and blackberry with notes of myrtle and licorice
Palate: smooth tannins, velvety texture, long finish
Food Suggestions: perfect with roasted meat and aged cheeses, especially Pecorino or Parmesan cheeses
Serving Temperature: decant and serve it at 18 °C / 64 °F
