Soil: Clayey, with important presence of sand and skeleton.
Harvest Period: Second half of September.
Vinification: Cryo-maceration for at least 10 days at climbing temperatures. Followed by fermentation for another 20 days at controlled temperature. Post-malolactic maturation for 12 months in French oak barriques, followed by 18 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Subsequent aging in bottle for at least one year.
Alcohol Content: 14% by vol.
Residual Sugar: 2 grams per liter.
Color: Intense ruby red with nuances tending to garnet red.
Aroma: Notes of underbrush and small red fruits, nuances of vanilla and spicy finish.
Palate: Soft and persuasive, with important presence of velvety tannins that balance sapidity and persistence.
